Ducting and Drainage
Ducting Systems

Duct is available in smooth wall, twinwall and singewall corrugated profiles. The lightweight, flexible duct copes with trench undulations and the high impact resistance minimises special preparation of beds and eliminates the need for special surrounds in most instances.
Applications:
- Cable TV
- Motorway Communications and Traffic Management
- Light Rail Systems
- Railtrack
- Water
- Gas
- Electricity
- Street Lighting and Traffic Signals
Benefits:
- The duct has simple push fit jointsfor ease of installation and HDPE flexibility minimises the need for bends.
- Duct is colour coded to customer requirements and can be printed to individual customer specifications.
- High compression strength.
- Protects cable and reduces risk of damage.
- Water resistant if sealed and can be laid at extreme temperatures.
- High chemical resistance.
Metro Access Chambers
Metro HDPE chamber sections are manufactured in one piece for high strength and rigidity. Identical sections can be stacked to obtain the required height. Each chamber is 355mm in height, do not exceed 3 section chambers for installation.
A wide range of chamber sections is available all of which have preformed trepaned rings to simplify cut outs which suit a variety of ducts. Hole sizes are designed to provide a snug fit but allow for variations in traditional brick chambers.
Metro Pole Boxes
Complementary to the Access Chamber range, Metro Pole Boxes are of similar construction and are designed to fit securely to traffic signal, pelican crossing and general signage poles allowing easy access to ducted power cables.
Signal pole boxes incorporate a clamp designed to fit around a standard 115mm signal pole.
Covers & Frames
High strength anti-slip composite covers are available to complement the most popular access chamber sizes. All covers comfortably exceed SRV testing requirements, wet and dry.
The covers are supplied with a deep seated cast aluminium framework which is designed to bear on the reinstated ground allowing flexibility on line and level relative to the chamber.
Twin Wall Drainage
Twin wall drainage pipe can be used for a wide range of applications and is suitable for use in Civil Engineering, Construction, Agricultural and other sub-soil applications.
Twin wall drainage pipes are used for surface and storm water drainage as well as land drainage. It is available unperforated, perforated and semi-perforated in sizes 150, 225, 300, 375, 450 and 675mm internal diameter.
A range of fittings are also available including bends, tees, reducers and Wyes.
Land Drainage
A single walled corrugated pipe which is supplied perforated and unperforated for the collection and removal of surface and sub surface water. Available in 60, 80, 100 & 160mm internal diameters.
A range of fittings are also available including junctions, reducers and end caps.
EN 1401 Underground Drainage
Underground drainage pipe and fittings designed for use in gravity drainage and sewerage installations at depths of up to 10 metres.
All drainage pipes and the majority of fittings are manufactured from PVC-U. Inspection chambers and gully traps and gully lids are generally made from polypropylene.
Available in sizes 110mm & 160mm with a range of fittings to suit including couplers, bends, junctions and reducers.
Band Seal Flexible Couplings
A range of versatile, flexible couplings used for jointing pipes of both similar and different materials and sizes. The couplings are especially suitable for drains, sewers and underground pipelines. The extensive range connects pipes from 24mm to over 2000mm nominal size (DN), to other pipes of the same or different sizes and material.
